Rookie Story...

I can honestly say I've been lucky enough to enter numerous new and unfamiliar territories in my life. Whether it's my current job working at ESPN or taking the subway 3 hours everyday for 4 years so my mom could have that Brooklyn Tech diploma, there’ve been a lot of ups and downs but I'd like to think I've been successful in growing from them all.

If I had to pinpoint one territory, it'd be my first job at MTV News. Anyone who knows me knows that I truly loved that gig. I started out as an intern and was able to work my way up to a senior story producer. Bullshit title, but I earned it. I went from logging interviews and allotting old tapes to interviewing all my favorite artists, flying across the country, and more than anything, meeting people whom I can call friends for life…

This, was my Rookie Season.
